Bowen Therapy is a relaxing, non invasive hands-on treatment, suitable for all age groups and conditions.

It is performed through light clothing either lying down or sitting.

Rolling type movements are made with the fingers and thumbs, over the muscles, fascia, ligaments and tendons.

Followed by short breaks of 2 to 5 minutes between each set of moves.

These breaks allow the body time to process and initiate the body’s own natural healing processes.

Bowen Therapy is helpful for many conditions such as:
Back and neck pain, sciatica, frozen shoulder, joint pain, arthritis, tennis elbow, RSI, TMJ dysfunction, sports injuries, headaches/migraines, Hayfever, chronic fatigue, MS, ME, PMT, fibromyalgia, digestive issues, stress and childhood conditions such as colic, ADHD, bed wetting, anxiety, growing pains and asthma.

Initially two to three sessions are recommended, a week to ten days apart.

For more long standing conditions further treatments would be recommended.

For ongoing conditions or for general well-being, maintenance sessions have found to be very beneficial.
