A healthy metabolism uses body fat to sustain your energy without the need to snack. If you struggle to stay focused, have low energy, and low mood you may not heave a healthy metabolism. Diabetes Prevention / Reversal
1 in 3 people in the UK now have Metabolic Syndrome, which is also known as Pre-Diabetes, caused by insulin resistance. Weight loss is recommended but the best way to reverse or prevent Type 2 diabetes is to reduce your circulating blood sugar. Simply losing weight isn’t enough to improve your health.
Yvonne has successfully reduced HbA1c levels for many clients including one from 63 (type 2 diabetic) to 47 (almost out of pre-diabetic range). You can change your diet and reduce your diabetes risk without having to feel hungry or deprived.

Not everyone can enjoy a little of what they like – this isn’t simply down to poor willpower. From a young age food is often used to soothe, comfort, reward, bribe, distract – not just to satisfy hunger cues. For this reason our brain has made an association between your emotions and food. If you find yourself reaching for ‘comfort’ food when you’re feeling low, tired, sad, anxious or ‘reward’ food when you’ve achieved something or worked hard – this is why.
There is a complex relationship involving brain chemistry, hormones and habit involved with any emotional eating. We can work together to bypass willpower and work with your brain, mind and body.
